Pick Your Own Produce at this Moorpark Farm
Spend an afternoon outdoors picking your favorite fruits and veggies, including strawberries, kale, broccoli, carrots, and so much more! Underwood Family Farms in Moorpark, California is the perfect day trip and a great alternative to the grocery store.
Just a short 45-minute drive from LA are acres of fresh produce ready to be picked. Depending on the time of year you visit, different fruits and vegetables are in season.
There is also a petting zoo and other fun activities for the entire family. Some attractions may be closed due to COVID-19, but the farm is open with safety procedures in place.
SE Pro Tips: Take sunblock and water as it gets hot in the sun during the summer months. I also highly recommend getting there at least 2 hours before closing to give yourself enough time to enjoy the farm without being rushed.
